The auto standard, shop-wide

SPC because the auto sector demanded it.

The automotive sector set statistical process control as its minimum and required vendors to integrate their quality systems with the customer's. Protoplast took that demand on — and then ran every other sector's parts through the same discipline.

Enterprise Resource Planning micro-manages each order and its workflow, so a purchase order is traceable from resin receipt to the shipping bay.

At the press, real-time monitoring and in-process vision systems catch deviation early — before scrap piles up, and long before a suspect part reaches inspection, assembly or packaging.
